BEKKESTUA BRANNSTASJON

bekkestua er en del af Asker og Bærum brann og redning IKS placeret som en af brandvæsnets østligste stationer med grænse til oslo kommune.

brandstationen er en af 3 i bærums kommune og ligger i hjertet af bekkestua op af kommunens hovedbibliotek og med garage ud til handelslivet på gamle ringeriksveien og signaturtorget.

stationen bemandes med en fuldtidsstyrke på 5-6 mand og rykker ud til cirka 1.500 årlige kald.
stationen har ydreligere mulighed for at bemande en sekundær basisvogn med indkaldt frimandskab.

styrken bemander brandvæsnets eneste primære højdeenhed en skydelift på 42 meter som dækker over 6 stationer med kørerveje på cirka 60 kilometer.

på stationen har man også centralværksted og logistikcenter.
til logistikcenteret er der også tilnkyttet en reatablerings/logistiktrailer.

brandstationen er fra 1962 og er 1 af 3 brandstationer i brandvæsnet som planlægges at blive erstattet med 3 nye til en pris på cirka 1 milliard norske kroner.

BEKKESTUA FIRE STATION

Bekkestua is part of Asker and Bærum Fire and Rescue IKS and is located as one of the fire service’s easternmost stations, bordering Oslo municipality.

The fire station is one of three in Bærum municipality and is located in the heart of Bekkestua, next to the municipal main library, with its garage facing the commercial area along Gamle Ringeriksveien and Signaturtorget.

The station is staffed by a full-time crew of 5–6 firefighters and responds to approximately 1,500 calls annually.
There is also the possibility of staffing a secondary basic unit with reserve personnel.

The crew operates the fire service’s only primary aerial unit, a 42-metre aerial platform, which covers all six stations with driving distances of up to around 60 kilometres.

The station also houses the central workshop and logistics centre.
A rehabilitation/logistics trailer is also assigned to the logistics centre.

The fire station dates back to 1962 and is one of three stations within the fire service planned to be replaced by three new stations, at an estimated cost of approximately 1 billion Norwegian kroner.

1+1+5 is dispatched here from Gladsaxe in Beredskab Øst.
The alarm is for an automatic fire alarm in Søborg, and they respond with the incident commander, a basictruck, and a water tanker.

LIFTEN PÅ BEKKESTUA

på bekkestua brannstasjon i Asker og Bærum brann og redning IKS er højdeenheden deres speciale som er en 42 meter skydelift.

liften er primær for hele deres brandvæsen og dækker over 6 brandstationer med kørerveje på op mod 60 kilometer i dens dækningsområde.

liften er på et scania 420 chassis årgang 2014.
en ny skulle være på vej så den står til udskiftning.

THE AERIAL PLATFORM AT BEKKESTUA

At Bekkestua fire station in Asker and Bærum Fire and Rescue IKS, the aerial unit is their main specialty, consisting of a 42-metre aerial platform.

The platform is the primary high-reach unit for the entire fire service and covers all 6 fire stations, with response distances of up to 60 kilometres within its coverage area.

The platform is mounted on a Scania 420 chassis from 2014.
A new unit is said to be on the way, so it is scheduled for replacement.

som det sidste en nyere tjenestevogn fra 2024 på renault captur hos bårslöv Räddningstjänsten Skåne Nordväst.

OVERVIEW OF NEW PHOTOS

An overview of new photos published on the station pages at Redningoresund in the period from 16 December 2025 to 26 January 2026 – a total of 332 photos.

The photos are mainly from the Norway trip, where roughly the first half is included here. In addition, there are also some photos from Sweden and Denmark.

Among the selected below on this post is a newer tankbasic at Station Eslöv, Räddningstjänsten Syd, a Scania 420, model year 2024.

There are also several cozy fire stations visited briefly on the way north to Norway, including Räddningstjänsten Halmstad RIB station Oskarström,
Sjuntorp in Räddningstjänsten Fyrbodal,
Skee in Räddningstjänsten Strömstad,
Hindås in Räddningstjänsten Storgöteborg,
and finally Ullared in Räddningstjänsten Väst.

as well as a look at the Danish town of Nørre Alslev, where Præhospitalt Center - Region Sjælland has established a new ambulance station.

TORSDAGS TUR TIL GREVE

ja det blev kun til en tur dag i denne uge.
må se mig slået af lidt ondt i halsen i dag så fredagsturen er desværre aflyst.

blev ellers taget godt imod i greve Beredskab 4K hvor dagen lagde hårdt ud for ambulancetjenesten Præhospitalt Center - Region Sjælland hvor alle 3 ambulancer blev afsendt kørsel 1 på under 1 time.

mens brandstyrken skulle i børnehave og senere handle ind gik turen også forbi geminivej få hundrede meter fra brandstationen.

her blev jeg også taget godt imod og fik bl.a også mulighed for fotografering af den nye robotenhed for Beredskab 4K's Frivilligenhed .
opslag om geminivej vil komme i fremtiden.

resten af dagen i greve bød på et par ydreliger ambulancekald bl.a i halvkraftigt snevejr som jo ikke er så tit man oplever det.

brandbilerne kom desværre ikke ud at kører ikke fordi de var sneet inde men bare fordi det var en stille dag som det jo er indimellem.

THURSDAY TRIP TO GREVE

Yes, it was only a one-day trip this week.
I had to admit defeat to a bit of a sore throat today, so Friday’s trip is unfortunately canceled.

I was still warmly welcomed at Greve, Beredskab 4K, where the day started intensely for the ambulance service, Præhospitalt Center – Region Sjælland, as all three ambulances were dispatched, with bluelights in less than an hour.

While the fire crew went to a kindergarten and later went shopping, I also stopped by Geminivej, just a few hundred meters from the fire station.

Here I was also warmly welcomed and got the chance to photograph Beredskab 4K’s Volunteer Unit’s new robot unit.
A post about Geminivej will follow in the future.

The rest of the day in Greve included a couple more ambulance calls, including one in moderately heavy snowfall, which is not something you see very often.

Unfortunately, the fire trucks didn’t go out—not because they were snowed in, but simply because it was a quiet day, which happens from time to time.
